House of the Philippine Islands (HOP) was established in 1961 and is located in Balboa Park! One out of 31 ethnic groups House of the Philippine Islands continues to celebrate the Philippine heritage to the many visitors of Balboa Park! Our mission is to provide a glimpse of our heritage to the visitors of Balboa Park. We are open every 3rd and 4th Sunday of the month because we share the house with France. Hopefully in the future the House of the Philippines will someday own our own house.
